They stay year round, almost forgotten midst the summer clamor of songs and whistles. Then as fall approaches their presence becomes more and more noticeable as they remain feeding on the autumn seeds and berries. Until in the midst of winter*s fiercest blasts their cheerful song and smart plumage are one of our only companions.
